Discover Tiar Jamoor's Musical Journey

Jamoor, born and raised in Hempstead, New York, is an artist who seamlessly fuses soul, funk, rock, and pop into a unique musical style she calls pop/funk. She started singing at just seven years old, and after her family moved to Queens, she honed her skills as a self-taught musician. Alongside her passion for music, Jamoor pursued acting, performing at the Roy Wilkins Park Theatre, which opened doors for her in the off-Broadway production "Spooks" at the Actors Studio. This opportunity earned her a scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, where she studied under Anna Strasberg. Additionally, she obtained a theater degree from Stony Brook University, all while keeping her musical aspirations at the forefront. Jamoor's diverse talents and dedication to her craft continue to shape her artistic journey.

As she honed her songwriting abilities, Jamoor recognized the necessity of an artistic outlet, leading her to team up with a close friend and form the band "Tears Reign." This collaboration allowed them to share their music with a wider audience. After two fruitful years together, both artists chose to pursue solo careers, with Jamoor embarking on tours that spanned local, national, and international venues. Her performances in London garnered rave reviews, particularly for her single "Spring Rain," which enjoyed constant rotation on the radio and numerous interviews on FLR 107.5 FM. A firm believer that "music changes lives," Jamoor emphasizes longevity as the cornerstone of success. Her deep compassion as a humanitarian fuels her desire to use her music as a vehicle for positive change, spreading her infectious sounds to touch the hearts of many.
